I've never been one for danger :tongue2: the stupidest thing i've done when i was younger was walk out on a frozen pond to get to the boat that was stuck in the middle, i was going to use it to float round and smash all the ice up for a laugh. I fell in, luckily i wasn't in the 'deep end' but it was still fecking freezing and i learnt my lesson when i went home stinking and pockets full of pond water to get a smack off my mum

That was the same pond that one of our neighbours greyhound went through the ice and drowned in...they looked for it all winter thinking it had run off then the ice thawed and up popped the dead dog :icon_eek:

You probably don't have the strength to lift your dog up never mind throw it over a gate, f***ing ticket.   I'm with Gem on this one, I'd like to hear the full story. We all grew up with dogs that

It is not nice that dogs bite, especially a child, but............on private property............if it was a dog that bit a dog thief or burglar....would we all be calling it a hero?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha   CRINGE!!!

We spent a lot of time down 'the woods' by the river fecking about. A lot of other kids would do the same and nothing was safe from rival gangs, lol. Anyway, rope swings over the river/weir pool would be put up only to be cut down and put somewhere else by some other kids. We nicked a ratchet strap from the building site (along with ladders and anything else that wasn't bolted down). Fecking Mowgly here, being the best tree climber in the county :D , tied the rope swing as high as possible and to this day it still swings, not a single kid since has had the bottle to climb up and cut it down. That right there is local legend. :D:laugh:

Great stuff...........

Remember climbing up to what I thought was a magpie nest, good way up when a couple of squirrels come running out.. I let go and fell lol

We used to climb the tree tops through the woods, from one side to the other..

It's great to think from as far south as we are right up to Scotland and everywhere between, we were all doing much the same things back then..

Must admit it makes me very jealous listening to all these childood stories........dont think i even saw a tree till my mid twenties and certainly didnt have the finesse to climb one :D

 ........."never saw a tree". Same for me but it only difference it was black folk.... :D

 Met a London lad when I was in my teens, he was down visiting his cousin who I was friends with. Didn't believe me at first when I told him I was off up the road to pick a few nuts off the trees, and when I insisted i was telling the truth he burst out laughing like I'd just told him the funniest joke in the world! Strange lot you Londoners, fair play!

My tree climbing prowess is countrywide. :D

My rope swing stands as the sword Excalibur in the stone.............................. many have tried to take my claim but the rope still swings.

That's all I'm saying..................

Postcode please, I can see this is your roundabout way of offering a challenge. :D

if you know the dog is a bit snappy why have you not secured the area so your little one can not touch or go near the dog. and like it has been said if that had been somone trying to steal somthing from the garden and it bit it would be a different thing .

for who commented on this post other side of the story is where it happend was at my mothers house its a small estate like a cul de sac the kids wer playing football from my mothers gate to the neighbours gate which is about 50 ft across from each other the dog has attacked on a few occasions befor and there is about a 6inch gap at the gate enough for the dog to grab inanyways i was talking to the owner to day about wat happend as she was away shes aware of the dog being vicious as she told me but only toward strangers which is ok but the fact of the matter if it got on the road which i told her she would b in serious trouble as it would easily maull a child so my parenting skills are 100 percent it was not his nor my fault that the dog is vicious its the owners for not making sure that the dog had no way of getting at any kids adults ect she was very sorry for wat happend and couldnt appologise enough for what happend i left it at that but i did tell her if i see it out its going she agreed and i left it at that for now
