Red Deer Stalking by James Douglas

Hi Gin,

Hope you dont mind me asking, but are you sure author and title are correct, only reason i ask is i just abe,d it and cannot locate a single copy anywhere in the world, this has only happened to me with one other book, Graham Whiteheads Encyclopedia of deer. :hmm:

Its on video, i had it but loaned it out and never got it back so i'm looking for a copy , either video or on DVD.

Its the best i have seen. Covers knives also.

James Douglas was a real gent and i had alot of respect for him. His videos are alll very well made and are all well worth watching. His bowhunting ones in africa were brilliant. I remember him telling me he was going to try and do "the big 6" on video with the bow...sadley he died in a tragic accident. Had many a long chat on the telephone with him and he was a very knowledgable guy..... :yes:

Yes JD, he was the best in that line of sport, and i think his videos were the best. I really enjoyed the Red Deer stalking one, but its not easy finding a copy now.

I think he died repairing a bow,- very sad.

Yes he died compressing a bow to re-string it......one of the limbs broke i beleive....poor guy...a true ambassador for fieldsports :yes:
