shovel leaner 7,650
I got a taper mouth builders shovel from the car boot 50p. Then with an agle grinder ,made a round mouth. Then go a mate who is a welder to weld a steel tube handle,a sort of T shape handle. Its quite heavy which has its pros and cons but it can take all the stick you can give it.I also have a bulldog round mouth , they are great shovels , but very large, and too big for tight spaces. Also i get little plates welded on my shovels to save my boots.A T B 1 Quote Link to post

cdnhastings 23
. The shovel closest to the camera is K.O.S. J-450 hybrid. The one behind it is a standard K.O.S. . The hybrid is hiding , but the spade is a K.O.S. rubber d handle, and I carry the both of them when I go digging. . A close iPod the top of the rubber handle on the spade. Saves shoulders and elbows loads and loads of unnecessary aches and pains. Quote Link to post
cdnhastings 23
Dug up a couple other pics, some of these are prototypes I was asked to evaluate. . . I've narrowed it all down to the far left and the middle right. The K.O.S J 450 hybrid is the far left , I love the steep angle, steeper the angle means deeper holes with less circumference which means less digging which means faster intervention and that to me is a good thing. 1 Quote Link to post
