springfield 20
Think would be have good grit, determination from Bed/Bull and a fair bone structure.Good hardy lamping dog, with a touch of whippet for fire and turn of speed.Go for it. Quote Link to post
ferret15 0
i really think you should wait until you have brought your bull x on you have asked lots of questions on here which is fantastic and you have received lots off advice but you need to concentrate on your pup first before getting another one you said it your self you are a novice so take things slow i think if you get another dog you will be biting of more than you can chew even the most experienced dog owners on here will tell you that three dogs are hard work and as a novice you wont be getting he best from them. you need to devote your time to the animals you have now then when the dogs are older and you are ready to get another they will help in the training I'm only saying this as i have just seen your classified add for a beddy whippet ! edited to say your classified was posted at before this one ! it looks to me like you have decided to get one allready! gnipper 6,626
Would a whippet sized bitch be able to have pups off a bullxgrey easily??? Quote Link to post
springfield 20
Would of thought it would be similar in working qualities to your Bull cross in ways,Not that it wouldn't be a good cross.Wouldn't a more raceyer type of dog be a better addition to you.I think the mating would be ok if the bed/whippet were the dog and Bull/Grey the bitch. My 21" Whippet has mated a 26" Saluki/Grey in past,It was awkward and had to be assited mating.
