I bought 4 of these yesterday, so much cheaper than proper hide poles and look much stronger aswell, I bought 4 hide poles for £40 last year and snapped 2 of them just putting them into the ground!!

I got Mine from wilkinsons 2 seasons ago, made Somerset Steel Feet for the Hard ground And they are still going strong.

Also around the 4 quid each ( extendable washing line poles in green)

If you want to be really fussy you can drill them and pot rivet on a kick plate but ive never found the need

home bargains if you have one near you, i got 4 line poles extend to about 10ft really good same design on the top as normal hide poles just push in no problem only 1.99 each...
