Ive had guys come out with me who have dug all over and they all agree that you wouldnt want it any harder. You clear the topsoil,then a foot of clay,then you hit the limestone.You need a bar an excavator and a garden fork with the two outside tines ground off to loosen the ground. I dream about light soil where your shovel sinks in easy and and a bar is something gathering dust at the back of my shed. 2 Quote Link to post
