Keep Drawing Blanks

As much as I try to target the corvid population at the family farm they seem to get the better of me.

 

We took the drive down to visit family today and I decided to give the Annie a walk and have a go at the crows. I have seen a few carrying twigs over the last few days as they begin to build and repair their nests for Spring.

 

Forgetting the Little Owl decoy I had no other option but to go on foot and carefully stalk down the dry stone walls but with the farm Jack Russel following me each step of the way I wasn't in for much of a chance

 

Still, a nice couple of hours out, as cold as it was. At least the dog got a walk and I got some fresh air.

Cheers, just over 300 acres in total. All upland land bordering moorland. Pretty bleak most of the time though but nice to stretch my legs and those of the .17HMR
