FastDogz 155
As some of you may know im a single Laddddeeeeey who lives alone in a GF floor flat...At 2.30am this morning i was just dozing off (sleep in living room with tv on) and i heard like some bangs coming from my window...Now me not been ur average women who wud shit bricks and leg it. I opened my window and had a look see who was there - Nothing apart from TV areial wire outside was dangling whereas normally attached to wall. Fair do's i thought its windy and probably that banging on the window. Thought no more and tried to settle down to sleep - again 2 more bangs from window again just thought "feck it" rolled over and went to sleep with Tv on for company Woke up this morning goes outside ... 2 bricks are neatly placed under my living room window and 2 behind towards the rear of the flat Deffo not blown there we had wind not a fecking hurrcane and they are very neatly placed. So either some b*****d has tried to break in - into the room i was in! (No signs of forced entry anywhere at all) ..or someone has had a climb up to try and spy through the gaps in my curtian I have no idea whats gone on but i have removed bricks and tonight am gunna sit with lights out and just enough gap in curtain for me to get a right good gawk - if i see anyone lurking around near my window im going to fly out after them with the biggest f*****g carving knife they ever seen (not stab em like just put shits up them) Come on you twats lets have it! Groverdog 0
You go girl and give the twats some shit. Probably some daft kids on the make. After watching Still Game last night heres a tip (thought it was great) grab some spray paint and if a hand or face comes near window or door spray it at them. A/ it'll hopefully get em in the eyes then you can put the boot in B/ itll mark em so police can get em.
gaz 284
A phone call to the old bill would be a better option and ask them to keep a eye on your place at night as flying outside like rambo with a big feck-off knife could end in disaster for you but a even better option surley would be a big rough type of a man staying over to make you feel all safe and secure
Kay 3,709
i got a dog when i was on my own at night it made me feel a whole lot safer, turn the lights out if you intend to look throught the window , otherwise you wont see anything
Guest Macnas
Give the coppers a call, not saying you shouldn't do what you have to do, but give them a call anyway. It'll look better if there is any legal procedings thereafter.
Guest JohnGalway
Yes, very important to report these things to have a record of it officaly.
Guest SJM
The police are complete pillocks, the stakeout sounds a better idea, have you got a video camera so you can record them doing whatever they are doing if they come back?

Cant really bother the bizzys because to be honest not much they'll be able to do due to no signs of forced entry Like the spray paint idea Groverdog

ferret15 0
probably some drunk kids spotted the light from the TV thought they would have a peek saw you sleeping decided it would be funny to wake you up by banging on the window the kids round here used to do it to me because it was funny to make my dog bark (not funny when your sons just go to sleep) until one day i shouted next time i will let the f*****g dog out !! it hasn't happened since. higgins 75
FD get youself a couple of CCTV cameras one either side of your flat and start recording, you can even record who's been near your flat while your out if they have a motion detector built in,seriously you can also use as evidence later if picture is clear enough,CCTV eqpt is very cheap now and is always worth investing in,good luck, Higgins. martin 332
Cant really bother the bizzys because to be honest not much they'll be able to do due to no signs of forced entry Like the spray paint idea Groverdog The thing is FD the bricks below the window may be a known burglars 'modus operandi' and they will certainly keep alook out if this is so.I wouldn't go out to them though,as you never know what might happen. The knife may get used on you,or,you may be forced to use it on them, and, then you will be in the dock.(not worth it) FD get youself a couple of CCTV cameras one either side of your flat and start recording, you can even record who's been near your flat while your out if they have a motion detector built in,seriouslyyou can also use as evidence later if picture is clear enough,CCTV eqpt is very cheap now and is always worth investing in,good luck, Higgins. Good idea Higgins, very pro-active,and,does put people off.
higgins 75
Martin, paranoid or not,she is a single lady and i think someone has noticed and they will take advantage of the situation,it's in her interest to keep surveillance and record activities outside her flat, lately there are too many tragic circumstances going on,she would be wise to step up her security and monitor events,as she says the Bizzy ARE TOO BUSY To attend, they only attend when it's too late, like you say it could be their way of sussing out what she does about it,if she ignores those bricks, they'll think she just think it's kid's messing about, Higgins.
