Are dogs ok with pork bones?

I have fed raw venison,lamb,hare,rabbits,poultry,pork and beef never had any problems dogs always look great on raw meat and bone

I never feed pork bones to my dogs they are very brittle. I feed the odd bit of pork meat now and then but it is always cooked with beef or venison and they seem to be fine. I have been always been told not to feed pork to the dogs but a little bit dont do them no harm.

Pork rib bones only, theyre quite soft, very meaty and really good for the dogs ,raw obviously.Dont know where the idea came from about not feeding dogs pork, think it had something to do with, years ago that it tasted human.Also somepig meat contains worms, so only buy from reputable source. good quality fo human consumption, never had any bother, even suitable for young pups as they dont splinter.

I think the general principle with bones is don't feed weight bearing bones because they are more brittle but ribs etc are fine.

Sarah, you shouldn't let your dogs kiss you like that, they can transfer germs I feed pigs trotters and have never had any problems.
