doggame 3
jsr target 6-24x44 milldot cost me £55 ao if there any good i might save my self some money and keep them Edited March 27, 2013 by doggame Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I'd use it But, to be honest, 24 mag for airgun 'hunting' is pretty extreme. Very handy for long range targets though Daylight hunting I tend to stick to 10x or if static (ambush over a warren) 12x in good bright daylight. Low light I use 3.5 or 4 to 6 mag. I once had a scope that was really cheap, 3x to 9x but after 6x the image in bright daylight was like looking through a white washed window! The JSR are renowned for being very decent scopes for such reasonable price Tony Quote Link to post
doggame 3
So if i stick to mag 8/10 in day they should be fine? . The only thing i hate is the torrent the allen bolt keeps rounding of on my mates. If this happend to mine is there a way to fix it ? can you replace the bolt on the torrent? neil82 1,075
that's my scope of choice, use full mag for zeroing and hunt on 10x, tidy scope for the price, far better than some of the other cheap scopes on the market Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Sure I've seen Neil82 shoot on a couple of occasions, he's a better pyromaniac, but he shoots well Tony Quote Link to post
doggame 3
The only thing i hate is the torrnet bolt. My mates rounded of can you replace the bolt? Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
The only thing i hate is the torrnet bolt. My mates rounded of can you replace the bolt? Whatever bolt that may be, it's only rounded off because it's been over tightened or misused. Just use a little common and it should be fine. JSR do decent optics for the money. I've owned and used a few without any problems. Quote Link to post
doggame 3
sorry i ment torrent bolt . The bolt that lock's the torrent in place Quote Link to post
jw74 27
ive got the 6-24x44 on my s400 and i cant fault it,my stepsons just got the 4-16x44 and thats spot on too,i will be ordering another smaller one for my boys scorpion.the allen bolt in the turret adjuster should be easy enough to replace, but it might be worth tapeing round the turret then cutting round the screw head before you remove it as im not sure if itll spring appart when you take it out as its spring loaded.
