ffs will you stop lamping those hares in the snow very unsporting is that ,, do it properly leave it till july time , kick em up out of the long grass and give the dogs a chance ;)

they dont like it when the breeze rustles the grass better when its deadly quiet only the crunch of the snow drifts andthey arent as fast and easy to spot unless they are them whiteys and Oldham lad its only illegal if you are not a paid up member of the Daffodil coursing club or if you get caught :whistling:

right, so your 1 lamping hares ( a ready easy sport ) then there is the fact theyre starving due to the snow on the ground and very little traction in the snow ( even easier ) then the time of year they will be unfit and full of young????? are you an idiot or just like butchering sitting ducks?

i was thinking that, regards when its (snowing and raining).meaning, that you can go out when its raining and rabbits will (stay out) . and feed yet if its snowing you dont seem to see so many about.? Not talking deep snow 6-12 ins, just light cover. Maybe with rain it just runs off them, where as the snow holds on there fur more more and they dont like it.? just a thought .!!

Do you think if you feed them before you course them it will be ok?If they are fit hows a dog supposed to catch them? think the catty and pug thier back leg is the way forward but where can you get a laser guided catty that isnt affected by the snow?
