I have a young whippet 14month old that has come down. With a fever and a high temp took him to vets who gave him an antinflatry and antibiotic jab he's picked up a lot I'm now needing to put weight back on him I feed him a complete food which is 22% protine and has rice and chicken mince with it iv found it hard to keep weight on him can people give me ideas on how to get him to gain weight ta tom

What is it he has picked up a lot but. He's lost. Muscle content as well as weight I think he's out of the woods but looks like a worm riden dog there is. I want my side surfing pain in the arse back

My Whippet is doing well on this feeding regime, stools solid.

1lb of raw meat, Lamb, beef or chicken, from Durham Animal Feeds or

Ferreted rabbit, fed raw.

A good handful of Gain 20 percent, grated carrot, and spinach.

2.5 oz Gain multivit.

A blob of lard, melted in microwave, and poured over Gains.

Oily fish with tomato sauce once a week.
