skycat 6,173
How about someone puts up a gallery of photos of animals, quarry or not (both pre and post ban) that exists in this country: that way newcomers to the countryside can refer to the photos if they are unsure of what a certain animal looks like. A gallery of track marks (paw and hoof prints) might be a good idea too. Quote Link to post
Guest MOLLY
Brilliant idea MOLL. Quote Link to post

Guest frank spencer
Haven't got many photos of my dogs so I got the camera out today! More show dogs! Do you get as many rosettes as you do foxes? People like you (plastic terrierman) have been the ruination of the Jack Russell. This is one of the reasons proper digging terriermen do not have Middleton/Gould/D Jones/E Chapman/Bob Clough terriers THEY ARE ALL S**T. Dont wish to sound sarcastic, but you and all these are unforgivable for your sins. All the names above have told more lies and talked that much shit a farmer would buy them to fertilise his fields! and all have made huge fortunes out of up and coming terreir men. I have worked terriers for over 30 years, never shown, never will. I will not disclose my terriers breeding, but they work single handed not doubled up or trebbled up. One good thing to come out of the Hunting Ban it should clear up all the russells from shitting on the street as they are now unable to be used as it would be illegal because the law states 1 terrier, your all f**ked, shit breeds shit, thats it Any of you want to prove me wrong, name 1 person who has russells, not lakelands, who works them single handed (proper work) and they produce pups that go on to be workers proving they are not 1 offs. M.R1 who are you and where you from, seem ok or have you been reading the other idiot Sean Frains books, i saw Middletons book, DO NOT BUY IT but have a look, see all the rossettes he has killed. I remember when him and some young bird Vanda went around the shows (15years ago or more) showing Borders, remember Gary, another bull shitter when full of ale, he has brought Sid Wilkinsons Rock back alive more times than they did with my nan! Proper lads know the score! Iam new to the site, not computer literate, still learning, will check a few more articles and if any thing worth a mention I will try to give advice but only to proper terrier lads, THE REST OF YOU WATCH OUT FRANKS ABOUT AND ALL LIES WILL be found out! Good hunting Frank Quote Link to post
fish 148
frank please tell me what is a proper terrierman Quote Link to post
m.r1 7
frank please tell me what is a proper terrierman I can answer for Frank, Frank has now gone in to hiding, what he gets for trying to be a smart arse and sneaking on to my PC, see even I can tell lies! Not necessarily in this order: 1. Terriers come first (that is why so many terrier men are divorced) 2. He/She will respect them, protect them (never over taxing in their early stages), 3. Good cleanKennels, keep them super fit, feed them quality food 4. Give them plenty of opportunity to work 5. Never breed form them until proven, never breed from them to mass produce for profit (nothing wrong with earning money but the terrers life is paramount, do not risk loseing a terrier for the sake of breeding for profit) Never sell to non working homes 6. Never tell lies 7. work 1 terrier at a time and let them heal 8. ensure when retired you know where they are, if not retired safely, put to sleep 9. dont show terriers unless entered class or the judge is a working terrirman 10. do not ruin blood lines with pedigree blood or show blood 11. Ensure you listen to all (who work terriers), accept constructive criticism, there is a saying "your never to old to learn" This can be a hard 1 to follow because of the amount of persons who relate to point 6! 12. support the FMWTC, NWTF, Countryside Alliance and EDRD (should have been point 1 (hmm reminds me) I may have missed a couple of points but if you stick to the simple points above you shouldnt go far wrong, IN MY OPINION. GOOD LUCK never give your user name or password to any one! Quote Link to post
Moby 0
shame that i like a straight talker like frank. Quote Link to post
m.r1 7
All is not lost, I have ben passed Franks number and wil be calling him today (when he gets up!) and hopefully change his mind an ask for his contributions, he can some times be a little to straight, but I suppose it is better to be straight as people know where they stand! Bosun11 537
M.r1/Frank Spencer or whoever you are I do enjoy reading your posts, having murder with yourself......now thats comedy gold!! Seems like though Gary Middleton is 'enemy No.1' it's quite funny how you know that birds name? Now, if this is that big tall 'gormless' lookin blond bird, that always looked like she needed a good scrub, I do remember her. I had a gab to Gary most times I met him back then (must be over 15 years back) an never got her name. Now me talkin to Gary..... I always enjoyed his company a real charicter BUT don't go thinkin I ever bought one of his dogs or anythin remotley associated with 'em, even over 20 years ago his dogs were just 'show ponys', seen a few 'go' and some of 'em did......at first......gassy feckers that got chewed up, wanted the fight over quick, soon as they had a bit of 'ivory' an the job got a bit tough, you soon seen their arse!! Seen one that a mate of Garys (done a fair bit of showing an breeding with him at the time) owned (huge headed thing) right out of Garys stuff 'go', lasted all of two mins, came backing out an refused to go back........oh yer it went then alright, as its owner volley'd it into the next field......then put the poor fecker back on a lead to 'try another day!!!! Middelton terriers.....NEVER!!! Cheers Quote Link to post
m.r1 7
A friend at last! I have had a lot of emails from like minded people, your right about the physiques of his terriers and what I say isnt a personal attack against him as a peson away from terriers because I do not know him out side this arena. But in our world he is a liar, has no morals in breeding (your from liverpool? There was a few lads there that was taken in by him, there names were Gilly, Franny and Dave, not seen them around for a long long time, middleton I think put them off terriers, went in to lurchers. Met them a few times at shows talked a good dig, but what they didnt know was I new lads who had taken them out, all their terriers were quitters, smart, but quitters. Mr Morals Middleton lined a few of their bitches and never produced 1 worker. We all breed failures, myself included, but what Idont do is repeat and repeat for money making purposes and seeling at high prices to young nieve lads coming through the ranks. I know a couple of decent lads from the Liverpool area, drop me an email of who you are, could be new friends for you Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
Know the 3 lads mentiond well, it was Franny who lined his bitch up with one of Middletons dogs, seen him give Middleton the 'fee' pup back at the Wigan show (an whinced then!!!)......now thats a while back!!! Yep your right, none of the dogs they had ammounted to much, they'll admit to that, Franny was quite sick over the results of that litter!! Then again they were lurcher lads anyways and went down the coursing tracks later. Still see 'em about, Gilly's son has a couple of terriers an is gettin shown the right way of how to start 'em......quite refreshing!! An yep, we just might know the same lads......an I'm sure I'm friends with 'em already ! Quote Link to post

Feel sorry for Gillies son! fancy being taught the ropes by Gilie! ah well, never been out with them lads so I only comment because of feed back I have received from a person in their area and as I say know them from over 15 years ago when they were Middletons babes, with out mentioning names, you will know my liverpool contact by me mentioning Roger Cook, the cook report, a person with the initials AK & smigger met about 23 or more years ago, havent seen either or spoke in over 10 yrs, not sure if they are still dog men? Now your thinking! Quote Link to post
