trigger2 3,137
My back is still frozen to the spine. No Pain..No Gain...lol The Pup was perfect today..the conditions for her were better than perfect.. So I tied the Old dog to the Spade and let the Pup have a few runs through the day..She missed her 1st because it ran downhill very fast etc etc..but the next one gave her a good little run around and she eventually picked it up after a couple of misses and attempted grabs etc etc..Best bit was the perfect retrieves into my hand ( At one point to a Quiet nod of the head and a round of applause from Tomo who was looking down form a few hundred yards above me ). by the end of the day the pup had caught at least 5 ( one practically ran into her mouth out of a hole with no effort involved ) and she retrieved them all very well through some very deep snow etc etc. . .She Followed the old dog around and never made a sound or caused any stress at all..she was just chilled to the max... So Im happy chappy with my 5 1/2 months old puppy getting a great little starter in the game. . .She,s got a lot of growning to do and learning to be done..But so far so good..lol. PS..the older dog was unstoppable..it was just too easy for her..she even caught one while tied to the spade,as it ran past her..lol. Cheers Tomo. . . top day. well done to your pup. although the weather was bad the education that pup has gained is near on perfect for her. a great day for a young dog. well done Tomo and Vin for getting out there on a day like that.
