TERRIERS GO ABSOLUTLY NUT S WHEN THERE ON THE MINK , BUT I THINK WE MUST HAVE KILLED 99% OF THEM VERY RARLY DO WE SEE THEM NOW I HAVEN T HAD ONE IN A TRAP FOR AT LEAST 18 MONTHS SHAME AS THEY WERE GOOD SPORT EVEN IF THE ONLY GOOD ONE IS A DEAD ONE!!! :clapping:

You cant beat hunting mink along a river with a pack of minkhounds :victory:

 

We run a few terriers with the hounds and they go bonkers. The music is just undescribable.

Higgins, do you remember the dog i got off you many years back, Charlie? He killed countless mink on the river ribble. I used to go on at evenings after the barbel and leave the terrier to his own devises. Nasty little feckers if they get tight under the roots. Good sport for the terriers tho and many times i packed up the rods and went for a walk with the spade.

Would be swim for it if it took to the water? The terriers running with the minkhounds dont like doing much swiming lol

nice one JTB,never seem to come across any myself,i should get into fishing more(which i will be soon,anything to get me out of the house!),funny old game this,dogs you've bred hunting stuff

In ground,haylofts,blown-downs,etc.,....whatever we find,where ever it is.

when i was terrierman for a pack of mink hounds some years ago my terriers loved

the water as you can see.not a very good pic.

aah,can see it now,which minkhound pack were you hunting with then,are you in France,which region pal,?

a pack from down on the south cost bud wont say the name as im not there now.
