Alert Dog Thieves About.

there has been a white transit van travelling around the Dumfries and Galloway,East Ayrshire border,stealing dogs especialy lurchers.I know this because the police notified the manager of the estate I live on.

think its happening all over just now see alot of adverts outside the newsagents just need to keep our eyes open and a few lumps of wood lying about

didn't get a reg.just told male occupants in van.was told traveller types.

my dog lives in house too.on setee when ever poss. .

was droping the wife to the doctor over here this morning and a white transit connect with 2 guys came down the road,i recognised 1 from somewhere but unsure where.I was watching them in the mirror when they pulled in outside the terrace.I droped herself off and when I got back there were 2 vans there,1 VW transporter and the transit.They were parked outside the gates of the house and I pulled up longside them and they drove off.The dog was barking like hell so I assumed they had approached the house and the dog heard them.Im hoping they will prefer to go elsewhere over time.The b*****ds never let up.

A couple of Months ago I was returning home after being out a walk with a Whippet when a white van pulled up, and the driver asked if it could catch a rabbit, i told them no, it was a family pet,

he had an Irish accent.

when i got to my house the van was just behind me, but i just kept on walking. till it was out of sight.

Wise move joe anybody asks me i just say rescue dogs if they look like tinkers if they were out coursing in there white van the police wouldnt be long in catching them
