B.P.R 2,798
Im posting this across a few sections (gundog, ferreting, dogs and airguns etc)...... Ive been making paracord game carriers a short time now....and they seem popular..... Im looking for any other ideas that anybody might like to see? That maybe yous would use in preference to the hand and shoulder carriers i make like so: SHOULDER CARRIER 2 HAND CARRIERS DOUBLE AS A LARGE CARRIER WHEN CLIPPED TOGETHER.... After a bit of trial and error with RM2508, we came up with 2 additional ideas.... One was to make a larger 'hand carrier' that can clip onto the bottom of your bag and run across the small of your back.... Another was.... to reduce the size of the carriers and add in a clip.... this would mean it can be clipped almost anywhere....on your bag, straps, ferret box, shooting stick, dog cage, inside your van or even on the seat guards in cars to keep the mess out your boot... Unclipped they are a 'mini' hand carrier, made the same way as the ones above... Clipped onto the right place, they mean you can load game onto them without taking your bag off. Obviously one each side to distribute weight etc.... Any ideas? Quote Link to post

boyo 1,398
years ago we used to make them out of sprung steel make 2 triangle shapes ansd bend one end in a hook so straight peice hooks in to the hook stich a peice of webbing we used car seat beltsand hang over your shoulder triangle carrier each side worked great at the time .mind you nowadays dont catch enough to warrant carrying a carrier lol. Rogue and running dog 26
Cheers staffpeg I have no idea why but I have read the whole post and it doesn't say on it on mine! I'm confused haha Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
The hand held and the clip on ones are 2 for tenner posted.. The larger ones are a tenner each posted... The 'looped' design is handy because you can carry almost any game you want... Loops round a pheasant neck, round a rabbits legs and so on.... The heavier the game, the tighter the loop pulls I like the idea of the pins on the handle.... But your limited to rabbits.... Could probably drag a deer with these....the breaking strain is 350lb!.... Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
I like the looped idea to fit all game.....its the same design folk use when tying up a brace of birds at the end of shoot day. For a carrier 10 is enough when carrying pheasants......is there anyway you could make one with the 10 loop ends and a carry handle at the other.....thinking along the lines of a carrier bag handle? 1 Quote Link to post
