BORDERSCOT 3,816 Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 When they are grafting hard through the winter I feed high protein completes - with meat, fish, pasta, and veg. Throughout the summer I feed less protein as they are on holiday so to speak - not into showing or lure racing so mines don't have to be fit through the summer..rest and recuperation for a few months. I don't think you can keep a dog properly fit all year round - like athletes they need to be 'let down' to repair...seems to work for me... 3 Quote Link to post
