Seeland Wellies

Recommended Posts

Anyone got any positive feedback on the Seeland range of Wellies, i've never tried a pair myself but i am now looking to get a new pair, my latest ones were Hunter Balmoral Neoprene lined... ( John Norris slight seconds )... which i've managed to get two years wear out of them, they are now split in several places and leaking.

My brother just bought the Hunter Balmoral Bamboo and they are really Thin and Flimsy, i dont know if all the Hunter Balmoral's are now like this, but what i do know is that everything these days is made in China.

These are the ones i've been looking at,

I used to have hunter Balmorals years ago when they were the hunter classics. I recently got some seeand allaround wellies, which are lower in the range than the ones your gonna get and I love them. The sole has great grip, I have done 12 mile plus walks in them on very slippery chalk/clay and they performed brilliantly. This was on the south downs so up and down plus slippery! I would recommend them and as the ones your thinking of are higher up the Seeland range they could well be excellent. The sole has great grip on chalk/clay/flint, in fact better than any sole I have ever walked in and that includes Vibrams. I hope this helps.
