V-Mach 80 Kit In A 77

my mates just pulled his 80k apart to fit a titan spring , by the looks of things it had a v-mach kit in it already but all hes interested in is power , the reason i think its a v-mach kit is its got one of their green seals in it and the spring wire looks thicker than a normal hw spring also the guides are black instead of the cream colour you get with hw items .

 

anyway i saved the kit from going in the bin as he didnt want it , my question is do you guys think it might fit in a 77 as im going too look at one tonight and if it fits it will be a big plus to getting the 77

Bad news I'm afraid, mate. It won't fit. The spring and piston in an are a larger diamiter than the 77. Try putting it in the 'for sale' section on the forum. Someone may want it.

Sell it then use the cash to buy your own kit

the spring, piston liner and rear guide all fitted but its all working fine actually better than fine

Nuff said, some rifles just dont need a tune up, its how we shoot em that counts.

Most 77s won't take the spring but the later ones will.

its not a standard spring its the v-mach one so mabie it runs a thinner coil .
