Hands Going Numb ???????

Recommended Posts

Just a quick question, do any of you guys out there wake up to find your hands numb?, or if you been driving a while the wheel hand goes numb??. I always used to think if i'd been on the saw for a spell it was that vibration white finger malarkey, but i googled it and its suprising how common it is apparently, although i never heard of it before. One suggestion was Carpo tunnel syndrome, only tunnels i ever been through was down by Newport lol.

Any thoughts or experiences from fellow members ??? Serious replies only please ??

f**k off garfield i'd sooner have numb hands than ginger f****n hair

He'd look a right cnut windmilling whilst driving the 90 lol...sayin that though..no more of a cnut than he already looks i suppose ...plus im tipping the money belt is fastened a wee bit tight hence

I get it when I've been riding my motorbike for prolonged periods without having to brake or change gear or whatever. I think it's the vibrations. Waking up with numb hands might be quite useful.

my lass gets the same mate and docs said carpel tunnel syndrome some times she wakes up through the night with bad pins and needles then other mornings she has no feeling at all she gets it in her legs as well if shes been driving for a long period ;)

I have Raynard's which is rubbish this time of the year as my finger's keep going yellow and numb when the blood flow is restricted and the cold weather don't help..i also often wake up with one or two dead arm's but i put that down to the sleeping position at the time...once i've moved my arm's about the numbness quickly goes..i have had it for year's now and all i can realy say is try and keep your body warm when it is baltic out there and if they do go numb make windmill motion's with your arm's so the gravity get's the blood flowing again..

Always thought I have good circulation cause I never seem to get cramp but what I do is similar to you Boots. I wake up in the middle of the night and its like my hand is dead, or it feels like my fingers are sort of twisted over my hand. I never seem to wake up fully and sometimes think I'm dreaming?? Or is it some kind of night cramps due to the way I sleep???
