Alright. F**k you, Scotty; I've ordered it! I just Love a good film!   And, actually; That one struck a chord with me because I was also surprised (Bloody surprised!) to see it listed on the threa

four brothers snatch man about dog porkys casino

missisipi burning the shawshank redemption untouchables braveheart we were soldiers

i like snatch but what about it would mean you could watch it again and again? it was good but not the best film ever

That's the thing with these sort of threads, everyone's opinion is different, there's films been mentioned that I wouldn't be bithered about watching once let alone time and time again...

Then there's films like shawshank, which is a given

Sleepers another great film I thought

I think my most enduring (and endearing!) memory of " Snatch " is the SBT. When he eats the toy, in the car. Then, that bit where he Simply Must Bite Everybody in the Room! I'm almost crying just thinking about it! Love to see it again, for that.

Not sure about the rest of it. Is that the one with Brad Pitt playing an Irish Traveller? Or have I got completely confused now? But, yes, that dog alone does it for me.

There's always one ;)

Yes, but I've learned a lot from threads like this before  Led me to seeing some cracking films. And this thread's already throwing up some 'Givens'. Shawshank, as you say. Forrest Gump is another which I'm noticing often enough to think I'd better hurry up and see these, before I die.

When this has levelled out, I might start another one and see where we go with that one. I have the genre in mind. Seen it else where. Thrown up some superb choices and given me a lot of pleasure :)

Lots of the classic ones ( Shawshank, Green Mile, One flew over the cuckoos nest etc ) but for films I can watch again and again...

Hot Shots

Airplane

Life of Brian

Naked Gun

and anything at all with Tom Sellick in it.

Watched hot shots part deux again the other night, still laughed at it even though I knew what was coming.... Bloody stupid, Naked Gun as well brilliant...

You'll love Shawshank mate... Wife's fave film ever is forest gump...

I loved Stand By Me as a kid as well

Stand By Me Was Quality , I think it had a little bit off all our growing up in it , River Phoenix played a good part .
