RossM 8,119
dont think the world would be a better place with out veggies what a statement my daughter and x wife are veggies and dont see anything wrong with what i do if anything they agree with it and think you could not get any more organic than eating a wild animal Your daughter is a veggie? How has that come about? My daughter is 3 and knows the score. She knows the ferrets and dogs catch rabbits and they go in the pot and loves eating what we catch. She told a girl at nursery the other day that her pet rabbit should be in the oven. Lol. And what did her nursery teacher say about that? Maybe educate her on the difference between pet rabbit & wild rabbit, could cause a wee bit bother otherwise.
walshie 2,804
My boss and his wife are both veggies but poles apart. My boss chooses not to eat meat because he doesn't like the taste of it, but apart from that he's the same as the next man. His wife, on the other hand embodies everything that is bad with veggies and animal rights people. She's pale, seems to have the world on her shoulders, her email address has something to do with fluffy animals, and David Cameron should be kicked out purely because he's a member of the Countryside Alliance. (I can think of many reasons, but that isn't one of them.) She spouts her views daily, even though they don't make sense and assumes everyone who isn't a veggie is an animal murdering b*****d. She hasn't mentioned the BASC sticker in my car yet.

Gaz_1989 9,539
Then there's the vegetarians who don't like meat or the taste of it but eat them "Linda McCartney sausages" or "Quorn turkey steaks"
RubyTex 1,957
Then there's the vegetarians who don't like meat or the taste of it but eat them "Linda McCartney sausages" or "Quorn turkey steaks" Aye but that's a meat substitute. My brother's girlfriend is a veggie but she can prepare a shot pheasant for the oven no bother, she shoots and loves watching the dogs work, but she won't eat any meat. Her choice, i'm not fussed. More for the rest of us
