Woke up to snow covered ground today, its about 4 inches deep now.Thats about half a dozen places,where the traps wont be getting checked today.Worst time too,end of march. Anyone else the same, LOL. What a pain !

I have been hit and miss now for the past month. If there's not snow on the ground it's frozen. Past two week the day temp has barely topped 1 degree.

I should have a good few hundred traps in the ground. Instead they are in the motor earning feck all.

 

It's going to be a very busy April and may.

 

I just hope the bees don't start to swarm till late.

Terrible here too. I've just walked the dog down to the river and I'm sweating cobs. Must be over 20 degrees.

Yes Moxy, it can get to you sometimes.Remember those two severe winters we had ,a few years ago ? The first winter i couldnt work for the best part of three months,i never caught up that year,and no money either ! LOL

I remember them very well, after the snow it was -10 plus everynight and the ground froze like concrete

We have had it better than most this year, most of the snow has gone around us its here at the moment mind,bloody cold too,keep smileing soon be xmas,lets hope the weather picks up for the show season,instead of that depressing rain,might go to a few this year,

Just thinking about it,pity i dont use markers,because at least i would have been able to recover ,the ones that are out. LOL
