Been flooded myself jigsaw and its a not a good experience . Spent 9 months in a 21 foot touring caravan and it did me head in to say the least . That was 2009 and they have done the odd bit of maintenance to the flood wall were i live . The main work starts next year  its all down to money , nothing new there then . In the mean time the people live in fear of being flooded again and again allthough thankfully it hasnt happened . But it is the not knowing will it or wont it happen again that distresses people . Home insurance went up some people couldnt afford to get insured or keep it going . The enviroment officers i was talking to said they dont have a flood season anymore its just all year round now as the weather is so unpredictable now.

thankfully im only 5 minutes walk from there but im up the hill so we dont suffer from that problem.it must be soul destroying to see your home covered in slime.fingers x'ed they'll sort it before it happens again FV.

Yes fingers crossed jig coz its a right shitter believe me

You would think cork council would have a plan in situ for flooding at this stage after the devastation the last few years jigsaw

scent,i believe the problem is the council dont think at all, they dont live any where near the northside so they dont give a shit.theyve shoved a few right undesireables into our neighbourhood too of late and the crime rate has gone through the roof but ITS NOT ON THEIR DOOR STEP SO WHO GIVES A FUK
