What's the best material for roofing an enclosed mews at the moment it has corrugated aluminium sheeting but the wife says its a eye sore from upstairs windows .....any ideas.

mineral felt? or maybe thin slate, my kmissus hates sheeting as well lol shame she not getting a choice in the matter lol

You could slate it but you would need to be sure it will carry the weight...other than that green mineral felt ;-)

Can u not paint the sheets to the colour she likes ? My mews is green plastic coated wire but in winter I just fit 2 plastic sheets on ,

I thought about felt but have heard it attracts red mites does look nice thou

I would imagine the metal sheet would be cold with frost or snow on it also thanks guys

Try and get the torch on felt and torch it strait on the boards you can get it in green brown blue even white if she's that fussy lol

theres corrugated sheeting u can get it in b&q it comes in a few different colours its good stuff i cant remember the name of it but if u ask in b&q they will no

red or green oxide paint the type put on cow and hay sheds and to combat massive temp changes due to corr sheeting just put aeroboard or any insulation on inside and cover with 6mm ply on inside. just an idea hope it helps.

Get someone to fibreglass it it's the best way to do flat roofs
