Recommended Posts

shouldnt be the problem to be honest as i bought the ferret off a bloke i know and hes worked him lots and always had results hes only sold him as he has health issues which stop him getting out and about, im going to keep trying the area and keep my eye out for a larger warren

thanks lads went out this morning and dont know what im doing wrong but drew a blank, netted all holes and know warrens are live as could see prints leading in and out of them in the snow aswell as fresh droppings and ferret went right through several times but no bolting rabbits tried for ages before switching to another warren but same again on every one only thing i can think of is rabbits were out in the fields. what do you lads think any advice would be appreciated!

get your self a pup and take it with you soon it will let you know if the bunnys are home and it will save you time netting emty warrens

when your ferrets get their first rabbit down those holes then they will switch on very quick, chances are they are not going all the way into burrows if its new to them and yes you will need a dog thats switched onto rabbits but could be any dog once he switched onto rabbits and wont kill your ferrets.
