Fly Fishing For Carp

wondering if anyone does this and got any tips as never done it before only sat behind buzzers in my bivvey lol had enough of that to boring now want abit of sport looking to buy a decent rod and reel too ??

Feed them dog biscuit, fish with a deerhair spun fly or a simple cork ball superglued to a hook. make sure your backings well attached!!

a 20lb plus carp on a fly rod is something else superglue a daddylongleggs to a hook, use floating line and go chubbing, is great fun

I do fly fish for carp and all I use is a piece of cork glued to a hook and feed the pond with dog biscuits out of a catapult great sport,you can buy them made up but they don't work any better, Mike

Riser pellets and hair rigged floating tigernut soaked in betalin. This gets them consistently feeding on the surface and the tigernut seems to attract the bigger fish. Ive caught carp on centrepins upto 27lb and trust me it is brilliant. Atb

Avoid the pre-stretched stuff or the double-strength. I use 6 or 8lb bayer.
