Dubba 72
Agreed, you won't go far wrong with a FAC Rapid. If your not to worried about having a PCP take a look at the old Webley Patriot or Theoben Eliminater. Both can be had a good money now and are decent rifles Quote Link to post
Adrian Prisk 6
No surprise there, thought rapid would be first to appear. Anything else out there being used ,s10,fx,or the r10 ,or even the air arms rifles, looking for good shot count poss around 35/40 per fill, will I only get that with buddy bottle guns ,or will I get that with the aa 410/510 Quote Link to post

halamrose 24
My 410 at 32FtLB does 35 I think. Quote Link to post
moxy 617
My 410 at 32FtLB does 35 I think. Are they full power shots? Quote Link to post
Adrian Prisk 6
if they are full power that sounds good,I'm only after around 25 fpe so I could poss get 40 shots from aa 410 ,another option. Thanks Quote Link to post
jackinbox99 41
At about 25ft/lb a .22 will have the same tradjectory as a 12ft/lb .177 So thats a good power to aim at. Id be lookin at the rapid or the s410. The rapid will have more shots as its got a bigger resoviour on it. Quote Link to post
jmj121 30
i have a s400 running at 38ft/lbs i get 35+ full power shots.. Quote Link to post
stillair1 16
Why limit yourself at 25ftlb in .22, your in middle ground. Probably too hot for 14gn pellets unless you are very lucky, too low for 16+gn pellets. The advantage of fac air is to flattern the trajectory. A rapid running at 30-33ftlb will give you a better setup and make the most of a jsb 16gn or 18gn variants. Edited March 21, 2013 by stillair1 1 Quote Link to post
Adrian Prisk 6
around the 25fpe should suit me and the ground i shoot. with 16 grn aaf,a 40yrd zero,850fps,60yrds is a shade pass 1 mil dot with 15.7ftlbs retained energy at 60yrds. i could go 35/40fpe but i feel it would wasted air rather have extra shots Quote Link to post
paulus 26
dead is dead sub 12ft lb or 50 cal Quote Link to post

And the advantage of FAC is to flatten the trajectory? Quote Link to post
