My First White Mole

I had a chance to set a few traps on my work break today on the golf course so set some this morning and finished setting at the other end of the golf course on my lunch break, and as i was walking past a few of the traps i set in the morning i thought i would just have a quick check to see if any were sprung, and that is when i saw the tell tale sign of the pin open on the talpex trap, so pulled out the trap expecting to see the mole but when i pulled out a white one i was over the moon jumping with joy like i had won the lottery. I just got find someone to stuff it for me now, i may not catch another this colour but this being my first im going to treasure it.

There is a guy I used to work with who traps at Penistone, Sth. Yorks who gets quite a few white moles all from the same area.

Im just so happy i caught one im happy with every mole i catch nothing better than lifting a trap with a mole in. I have caught loads but this one is special. Wonder what the chance of catching another is. If i dont i really dont mind i have caught this fine specimin

Congratulations mate ! I always rated Adrian johnstones moles,had a couple normal ones mounted years ago.Felt his prices were reasonable at the time.Think he has a website,where you might see an example.
