Do u just go behind the one for a single not ??

Around the 2 strands only for a single knot...around 2 then 1 for double knot. be sure that the knot beds in correctly or you'll end up with a net full of sliders

alway thought a double knot was doing the 2 strands twice as in double knot no doing the 2 strands then one strand that would be one and a half knots would it not thats the way i was told

A mate taught me the basics recently...he knits with hemp and single knots. I learned mostly from the guys on youtube. When double knotting they were going around 2 then 1 then tighten though i have been single knotting recently (last 50 or so nets)...works for me

I wouldn't use the twine for your net kit till your comfortable about your knots just use garden twine or some cheapo stuff from the pound shop

go to asda and buy a roll of their string,i can get 2 nets out of it at 3ft,thats how i learned,im 14 year old and just had an order for 30 nets
