AirgunGuy 362
3ft is a bit small i would say. I don't knit anything below 1 metre. 7-14,14,14,14-7...2 1/4" board gives a 1 metre net with approx 18 nets from 500gram spun poly ball. Have a browse on youtube...plenty good vids on there 1 Quote Link to post
The one 8,477
I wouldn't use the twine for your net kit till your comfortable about your knots just use garden twine or some cheapo stuff from the pound shop Quote Link to post
Guest norseman
all down to personnel preference really, i started with 8 meshes on the ring up to two rows of 16 wide then back down to 8 rows on the ring. make one or two then you can do what you want then sure. Quote Link to post

AirgunGuy 362
Its not difficult at all. Just make sure your knots are tightened down well so they dont slip ;-) Quote Link to post
thenetter 37
I start my three foot six nets with 12 meshes, increase 1 mesh each row to 15 meshes.from then I continue doing 15 meshes until Ive reached 18 rows. Then I decrease 1 mesh every row, until I get back to 12 meshes. makes a nice net,may use abit more twine, but its worth it.
