took dogs out for 5 mins in garden and some idiot has kicked my ferrets run in its attached to there hutch had 3 hobs in there, one of them was still in the run, one was in the garden but my large polecat is gone iv looked all around my garden and best i could around the street but with it being late.

 

iv set my live trap and left his hutch open so he can get into it if he turns up in the night, he got out before and i left his hutch open and he was back the next morning asleep in his bed... iv put my other hobs in my other hutch, i hope he turns up i was going to get him snipped at end of week, iv had him 5 years

 

the worst thing of all is that someone has gone out of there way to brake my run, it really makes my blood boil no need to do such a thing iv not got no enemies so its probably some chavs thats walked passed and seen it and kicked it in, when i find out whos done it there getting the same treatment,

f**k sake! Hope your hob turns up.. In my experience, they don't usually go that far to start with, I'd get out with a lamp at dusk when he's likely to be active..

 

Just a thought, have you got any neighbours who might not agree with hunting?

i was up most of the night looking with lamp, iv trained all my ferrets to come to a whistle so i was calling him as well and nothing had a look this morning and just been all on the street about half hour ago and nothing, spoke to some of the neighbours most of em are out but still no luck

 

iv sent my little sister and her mates who live on the street to have another look so hopfully he turns up

 

my neighbours are ok there not too fussed about hunting and they all love to see the ferrets,

Any other ferret keepers in your area mate? I had a friendly hob turn up at mine from a different housing estate a few years back when my Jills were in season, maybe he's gone on the sniff?

had this done to me pal, luckily i found my jil three days later living under some rocks at the bottom of the garden! they even went as far as wiping blood and mud all over the walls round my house some sick fooks out there. hope you get him back mate!

if theres a few kids about say who ever finds the ferret get money , like a tresure hunt sort of thing ! worked for me

iv gave my number to the vets posted a note saying i have a ferret missing to everyone on the street had a good look about but no luck.

 

had local kids out looking said they'd get some money but still no luck, no ones seen anything or heard owt,

 

touch wood hes just under some rocks and that all the cats that live on my street havnt got at him

sorry to here this mate, it was a rotten trick what someone has done, i hope you get him back, if not i have a good working polecat hob and 2 good working polecat jills, they will have young ones this year, if you want a young hob i will deliver you one or two for free, later on this summer
