:boxing: As there are afew boxing fans on here, my 15 year old son has got his 1st fight tomorrow night in liverpool, he has been training really hard, hopefully it will pay off, if he does well he will be fighting on saturday in scunthorpe

Close fight nerves got to him a bit won on points proud dad Thanks everyone

Lewis just came home from school and past me a card and a box of maltesers opened the card.   To dad thanks for all you do for me and helping me win my 1st fight    

Lewis boxed last night in Scunthorpe was all way going to be hard to get a result on away soil 200ish home crowd cheering against 3 of us he lost 2-1 to the judge's.He got into a brawl instead of stic

wish him good luck --- its hard to stay in your seat when its your own lad .. mine lost his first 3 then went on a winning streak of 19 :thumbs:

He had a skills bout about 3 weeks ago and did really well, so fingers crossed.

Did he do anything in the aba's stig????

no mate he did alright in the boys club is it naobc i cant remember --- he packed in boxing to do football .. and he`s just packed up kickboxing ands grafting his nuts off to sort a mortage .. they soon grow up :yes:

My lad took up boxing training for his football , got quite involved and started having bouts (had to look that up) not being into Boxing (played football) it was Nerve Wracking waiting for fights , though I will say boxing as fitness and Disipline are concerned will do any young lad the world off good , it's a Sport where you have no team mates to rely on once the Bell goes so it gives a Young Lad. A sense Off Responsibility , Good Luck to Your Lad .
