deerdogs.yes a nice straight back dog there are still a few about but most are slopebacks.Max Emil Friedrich von Stephanitz.never wanted his dogs to be so deformed still some people only care about money where dogs are concerned.i am thinking of getting a gsd and training it to see how much they can catch .but i will be looking for a dog of the stright back type

Great gsd's in them days, very strong+ fit dogs, with good hips, not like show shit of today.The best stock are from import lines today, if you want strong+ healthy dogs, my pup dam from c/rep/lines.

If i was going to breed one of this type my mate has a bitch who is brilliant. She is quite small and mongrelly but she will hunt ANYTHING. She gets taken ferreting and lamping aswell as just mooching and she has taken more deer than most lurchers.
