hi i found two of these dog scewers in my shed does anyone think they would be ok to use as anchor pins for long netting if so im sure they are only £2 on a market near me thanks

you want a straight pin for a traditional set net (not fixed to poles) if you where wanting to secure the ends of a quickset net i suppose you could use them but i have'nt come across any that have them

no use for longnets imo because of the screw action you're top and bottom lines would twist and the keyring would catch on the mesh.

Very nice pins there mate :kiss: ... better than the pile o' shite i bastardised in the shed. Good sized hoop on the pins as well to stop the net going over the back and turning your pride and jpy into a birds nest.

yes they are, then sprayed a nice dull matt nato green

The net I got off mole catcher this week is spot on and the pins are good too. I've just put a pair on my 50 yarder today.

Just the poles i was supplied with, from a well known netting supplier
