i`m doing a 2 high max 3 breeze block retaining wall how deep will i have to do the footings ?

Depends what type of ground it is,how wide the footing is.When you say breeze blocks do you mean 4inch concretes because depending on what your retaining you might be better using concrete H blocks.

It's not so much the depth Stig..it's the width if it's reatining a bit of weight because it might need to be 2 or 3 block's wide..

If its his wallet he better make it 5 block deep...... :whistling:

concrete blocks retaining soil/garden got the block and a load of blues ,, 6 ft long

you will probably get away with an 18inch footing. It might be wise to lay your blocks flat so the retainer is 9inches thick or if it is having a brick facing wall in front of it leave a cavity between the 2 walls set steel rods in the concrete when you pour the footing so they come up in the cavity so yo can fix mesh to the rods then fill the cavity with concrete.People dont realise the weight that can push on a retaining wall especially in ground with a bit of clay in it in wet weather.Ive had to rebuild a fair few retaining walls over years where people have underestimated how much ground shrinks and swells between the seasons.
