In actual fact your correct it wasnt an intelligent comment, I typed the first thing that came in my head , my opinion is simple I dont think that it is acceptable to impound an animal and let two dogs attack it for whatever reason, no respect for the animal , say what you like but its a form of baiting in my book and something I dont personally agree with. 2 Quote Link to post

Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Have to agree mate .Nothing there that a yappy russel woudnt do or yorkshire terrier for that matter .Is that how they test a terrier, in pens. They must be proud to have filmed it .Got no problem with any style of work as long as it natural.Baiting is what f****d up true terrier work in this country . 2 Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,466
We will have to disagree in this instance. How else do you suggest a young terrier is introduced to such dangerous quarry? Quote Link to post

unlacedgecko 1,466
Training in a controlled environment gives a greater chance of success. Have you never hole ended a terrier? Or dropped quarry in an earth you know to be more suitable for a young dog? Or does the fact that the earth is not within a fence make it ok in your eyes? What do you think of rabbit pens used to train gun dogs? Quote Link to post
