Seems like a bad subjuct all round this moleing. I didnt mean to sound dictating.

I think you are a bullshitter.

You started off last week telling us that it was rubbish to insist on buying quality traps and that you had been catching moles for two years in cheap Chinese traps and it was all down to skill not the trap. Since then you've talked about nothing but using Fenn traps.

Here we go, i was woundering how long it would take before an idiot would come along and start the mouthing off bit...dosnt take long does it...if youve got nothing better to contribute to a thread..goto the pub and mouth off down there. Hopefully someone will happily oblige you!!

Yep i do use cheap talpex type and talpex traps and fenn traps and they all work compleatly fine..yes a get an excellent catch rate with all of them...so maybe be you should get over yourself. No offence pal!!!

Sorry..im more than happy with my catch rate i dont give money to anybody without good reason. I saw all the dvds for £15 a time on the net but there a scam..trail and error is the best way to learn..

Its always everyone else at fault with you Probuck.   Perhaps if you tried to be a no-it-all a little less, and stopped seeing the worst in every post that doesn't agree 100% with your opinion, peop

jeesus can't mole catchers get on ????? probuck wind your neck in, you didnt invent mole catching,some of these guy's do it proffesionally and I mean on a large scale, learn from them, why are people

probuk, no offence , but you seem to be complicating things and making work for yourself, digging holes deeper to make a trap under ground level is more work, as is putting grass then sprinkling soil around, everyone has thier own methods and if it works for you then , fine, tight holes are not neccesary , you gotta leave room to work, barrels set easily , quickly and catch well,with the chance of a double, i think thats probaly why they so popular,

I put them in tight so the claws are nowhere near the hole but more bedded into the walls of the runs's..it stops the mole moving the trap and setting it off to early.

Well mate,Ive learned fairly recently from someone, that theres an extra bit of tampering,you can do to the wee fenn,which i can see improving the capture rate even further.And apparently it comes from the "very experienced gentleman",youve just replied to here.Maybe he can elaborate.Or perhaps youll just have to by his DVD to find out ! Ha-Ha-Ha.

:laugh::laugh:

I once did a job where the customer had spent nearly fifty nicker on a similar device and the mole had tunneled around it and collapsed it over.

Didnt have a camera with me but it would have made a cracking picture

Thanks for the advice chaps but im not wanting to be a mole geek. As for the know your animal thing..well its a mole. See.. just saved £15. Catching them is easy, aslong as you set the trap properley...once you set the trap the mole will get trapped in it...now you make £30. And it cost £2.00 for a cheap trap off ebay...if you buy more cheap traps for £2.00 you get more moles. Simple!..Im 43 own my home..paid cash..own luxery statick home..paid cash..own my own car..paid cash..own my own motocycle..paid cash..Infact the tuth is i cant afford £15 for a dvd on moles im skint lol.
