Danny13. Horses for courses and everybody has a different opinion. It's up to you.

Mine has never let me down. Although its been relegated to a sole ratting tool. I would never part with it.

I found the premiers to be crap too. My mates AA410 didn't think much to them neither. Nor did the HW100.   AAF worked well

My BBK mk3 in .22 loved AA Fields the most but a very close second was rws superfields which grouped nicely and were cheaper.   The sad thing is AA fields are my go to pellet as over the past year

I have had one from new (yes really) a year and 8 months old now! Superbly reliable. The magazines have a reported reliability problem, but it is easily fixed, I know I did on a magazine we bought as a spare for mine..

Oh and here is mine!

The S10 is a very good rifle and was BSA's top of the range rifle at the time retailing at around 700 quid (mk3). They are a sought after rifle. If you were to get the chance of a good 1 at a good price then you would jump at it. As for reliability issues...the only ything i can think of is the mag indexing but you would buy the new self indexing mag and take out the indexing parts from the rifle. They tick all the boxes for me...regulated so 120 consistent shots per fill...very accurate and reliable. Parts are easy to come by also

Just one more question

What would be best for sniping bunnies 1.77 or 2.2?

I have a logun s16s 2.2 at the moment, but the take down novelty is driving me. When in a rush

(Driving me mad) sorry forgot to finish my sentence

I have had one for years now, must be close on 8 years, never let me down once !, apart from buddy bottle o rings.

God knows how many pellets have gone through it now, and I found it likes a cupell the best.

I have also got an r10, and that is also eating the accupells at the moment as I have hundreds of tins of them.

I have just ordered about 40 sample tins of different sorts so look forward to them arriving.

Bottom line, the s10 loves accupells, and is very reliable, I had two, swapped one for a car and wish I had never let it go.

Oh, I sent mine off to a guy, Harrogate I think it was, and he customised the stock to fit me perfect, it was a good one before, but different bit of kit on return, but he said he hated working on them as there was not a lot for him to play with.

Would love to remember who he was as the r10 would be winging its way to him now. All I remember is he was into his black powder and custom made full bore rifles.

To the guy who was asking about buying one, go for it, make sure it's not been played with as when they came out lots of tinker'ers got them as they were hyped to be a good tuning rifle. And too many people with no idea tried ! Find a good one and bobs your uncle.

I only ever use .22on bunnies, I like the stopping power the heavier slugs give, but deft a place for the .177

Down to personal preference. If you already have a .22 and you are used to a .22 then i would stick with it. .22 for me
