Dozza#lurcherterrier 5 Posted March 14, 2013 Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 Over the last few weeks a fox have made a dent on chicken numbers of a friend of mine , 30-40 chickens in total I think and after spending a lot of money feeding and buying them its not nice waking to that sight in the morning. All is ok now after the trap as been doing its job , 5 in the last 4months hopefully will put a stop to it. Let's hope sometime in the future he can get more stock and get back to keeping chickens after all of that . Quote Link to post

cammy12 176 Posted March 15, 2013 Report Share Posted March 15, 2013 its a pain in the arse that, had ma hens hammered by fox, mink, stoat and buzzards this year they all got what they deserved apart fi the buzzard ive kept hens for 8 years and ive never been hammered like this year i put it down to lack of natural food.
