I heard he threw them a bit to steady, did yours have a bit of speed about it the dog i got now direct out of dan aint got the quickest take off but once hes at top speed hes there with them all the way, i wouldnt call him steady, i had a bitch that he was grandsire of both sides and she was fast but she would over shoot somtimes, she ran like a grehound with more wind, but she was to head strong allways wanted to hunt up and i couldnt get her to come back if she missed a hare, head down and she was off.
