Saluki246 1,053
When i use to live in the uk back in the 80's, hares come december/january, were hard to find as kick ups in my experience, as they were wise and new the score most of them by that stage.. You would get the odd one that sat tite, but they were usually weak anyway? Just what i found back then... 1 Quote Link to post

nans pat 2,575
Start by giving Fair Law and see what you got on the end of the lead. Kick ups don't prove much at all. There ain't many real dogs out there that will best good strong winter Hares in December and January giving FairLaw If your genuine and test your dog and it's doing the Business regular without artificial help Respect . If your a Kick Up Merchant or using Juice that's your perogitive but don't shout from the rooftops A Fair Course is more Important than a Unfair Kill. their called lurchers for a reason its in the name..fair law only for grew coursing in a park imo Quote Link to post
thefensarefarbutistillgo 2,482
To be fair if it's a good hare it don't make much difference if it's a 100 yard slip or a 10 yard slip, before I've slipped over 300 yards and the hare has been caught within a minute and also had kick ups and had 5 minute runs 4 Quote Link to post
