Millet 4,497
I knocked a few up earlier but ran out of xmas tree too do 9 of them..i can't believe how hard it is to get hold of a old xmas tree this time of the year.. ..the back is clear as it will be fastened to the aviary wall and they will be fresh cut conifer also placed around them.. any postive and bad feed back taken on board..

fireman 11,003
Grand job they are mate and i could only say to make some with smaller nest baskets just in case the redpolls or goldies are a tad fussy, just to give them the choice more than any fault in those. Millet 4,497
That is on my mind Fireman. .they are all the same size canary nest pan's..it's bugged me weather they will be too small for the greenie's and too big for the redpoll's..you have just kick started me to do a bit of research before they go in.. tong po 129
nest pans look good i usually just screw a woven nest pan behind conifer branches with good results loo forward to see how you get on. happy breeding.
Clipper 207
i think greenis will be ok in canary pans polls an goldies will aswell , but are fussy , my polls last year wouldnt touch plastic pans but loved smallish wicker nest pans

My big lutino greenie hen will only use one of those with very little cover round it,the redpolls i have have always used the wicker ones or just ignored the pans and built their own.
