Guest oldskool
that is what i was getting at but then again what exactly is there in the countryside to prove him on?? i suppose terrier work would be something he could excell at?
valentino 0
that is what i was getting at but then again what exactly is there in the countryside to prove him on?? i suppose terrier work would be something he could excell at? yes oldskool,....to a degree their is limited work for the am bull... but i work a am bull bitch, and she certainly has her uses,..especially when we have been ''working the terriers'',... she also works cover and water very well etc...... but in my opinion the am bull must have other qualities that warrant breeding, this includes protection ability, sound tempermant, hips etc etc.....so if i was to breed her it wouldnt be with a 14 month old dog,...that probably hasnt done a great deal to impress myself.....it would be with a dog that has qualities that i want in my pup,..... but each to their own, as unfortunatley i know people who have stud dogs serving their bitches at 7 month old.....££££ valentino Edited February 12, 2008 by valentino
nolan6060 0
ah ok i understand sorry oldskool gt the wrong end of the stick. The dog has been hip scored he has a hip score of 12. His tempremant is 100% and me and my family use him and his father as farm dogs. This dogs father is fully protection trained but as i have a young child did not want any aggression in this dog towards humans. His lines are from james bulldogs so he is out of very good stock...........
kreet 0
he's a nice enough looking dog mate but im looking after a tall sporty type dog something with a very low hip score something like 8 or 9 you wont know what his final hip score will be for a while yet at that age . i was more looking for something abit older fully filled out and fully mature my bitch still showed noticeable changes up untill she was 3 she has a score of 8 and although i havent had her in any competitions she will happily run along side my bike for over an hour she can scale an 8 foot wall hang from a ide all day and both my kids can do anything to her and she would sleep threw it if i had been more experienced with the breed when i got her then i would have deffo used her in agility and maybe schutzhund as she has bronze silver and gold in her training classes from when she was a pup and could easily have done anything i would have wanted her to hence why im after a dog i know will throw a pup of the same quality of my bitch this will be her second litter and last first was a mistake and all pups were given to family and friends ill keep a bitch from this litter and spey my bitch so i have to be sure of what im doing .
