Could have been a philippine rat snake, but wrong country for a puff adder. I used to see all sorts of reptiles in Asian cities, used to see cobra in Hong Kong, seen massive monitors every single day in the heart of Bangkok, and the odd python and lots of smaller lizards. 2 Quote Link to post

Love them, I passed a huge bit of tin on the ground yesterday, I wanted to pick it up, but the ground is frozen solid like perma frost, but when the thaw comes I am going to have a peep 1 Quote Link to post

I had asian water monitor ,got him as a baby "size of me thumb " and eating crickets but soon grew to 5 feet and taking rabbits and chickens, I let him go to reptile house as they had a female who had lost her mate ,I got a pal that lives in Africa and runs reptile rescue and he said he gets several calls a week of dog owners who call him asking for him to come out and remove rock monitors from dogs face as they got jaws like a vice ,but big water monitor eat a medium size dog easy . 1 Quote Link to post
