Spoke to him once via phone and he asked why i used Sam The Man 1990 Waterloo Cup Winner across my Saluki x

I said to try and inject more speed due to where i did most of my Running.

 

He replied any Greyhound would have done.

 

I replied why use a Rag when you can use a Champion with bloodlines to back him up as well as him having a Great mouth.

 

Good at writing fictional Hunting tales and he obviously helped hook many a teenager into the Hunting game but imo there will have been many many a man and maybe a woman or two who were more Genuine and knowlegable when it came to different spheres of Hunting.

i once had a pup by of one of audrey halls and liz halls other greyhound dogs he was called "hoodoo" he ran in the waterloo cup out of kev walkers bitch "cleo"
