Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Now then guys and girls, A quick trip out was in order today after i got home from work and had a bit of brekky whilst getting my gear sorted. got all ghillied up, was going to camo the gun but couldnt be bothered lol. so i got to my permision and a quick re zero at 35 yards, with good shooting conditions produced this, from cold unsteady hands! anyway its good enough as you can see all shots JUST covered by the uk 1p coin. the pellet hole on the far right was due to a gust of wind, otherwise it would have landed with the rest of them.. so i gets sat down under a nice tree and put my gloves on to keep my hands warm. after about 5 mins 3 crows landed, 1 in the tree in front of me, but couldnt see him, and the other 2 in plain veiw in a tree just off to my left about 25 yards away. as i tried very slowly to move into a position to get a shot they either saw me mooving or the glint from the scope or the shine from the gun in the sunlight and were quickly on their way.. about 2 mins later in the tree 68 yards off to the right of my position a crow landed and started hopping about then sat still, watching. there was some overhanging tree branches blocking my shot, but a leafy clearing between 2 little ivy bushes would offer the near perfect opportunity for a prone shot.. after lazing the crow at a confirmed 66 yards and getting into position on the floor i raised the rifle. totally forgot to re-pallarax my scope lol so with a blurry crow figure on 10x mag i lined up the 3rd mildot on his head and. DUFFFF, ... , ... , THWACK!!! as i followed through loooking through the panorama i saw the crow fall to the floor headfirst after the pellet impacted into the side of its brain! a well happy fat skot was straight over the 2 barbed wire fences, gun in hand, to collect his prize.. 66 yards GET IN i thought to my self, beats my previous best shot of 45 yards a squirrel last year. Thanks for reading lads and lasses. 'Sniper' SKoT .. LOL Edited March 13, 2013 by Skot Ruthless Teale 4 Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
cheers lads it doesnt look that good anymore... friggin fell over and landed on it, in some really sloppy mud trying to find a squirrel that was trying to hide and i half landed on the gun and half on my side. shes fine tho i thought she took a hard knock but im probably over reacting. lased the neares target at 35 yds and took 3 shots at it, old fallen down tree, and it was still bang on zero so i didnt knock th scope when i fell.. just me being paranoid lol. cleaned her up now like. worst thing is i didnt even get a shot at the squirrel! basturd!! See yours doesn't need tuning you shoot it so well! the last 3 or 4 times ive been out ive taken the 97.. need to stop neglecting my 95 lol, its her turn next time lol. thanks mate, im loving my 97kt its so accurate, that was just a quick grouping with nearly numb hands in a wind aswell. come summer im hoping for 1 hole jagged groups . the rifle deffo outshoots me, but im getting there. i think the last 2 ingridients i need are better breathing technique and more consistent hold aswell. then i should get pellet on pellet. cheers again for the kind reply mate, SKoT Quote Link to post
