i have took on a whippet over this previous season due to my lurcher breaking his leg, and all in all he hasnt done too bad. Had a few ups and downs but i think hes getting there. Im just wondering what numbers of rabbits whippets can acheive appose to lurchers?

whippets great little dogs, as for rabbits, if they are there ours will have them, in bush, brambles, any rough ground you like, game little devils.around here in Kent though theres starting to be a great shortage as the farmers roundabout are fencing off as much as they can, with barbed wire on top which by the way should have been banned years ago, the whippets had many great sized paper cuts, blame the yanks for that stuff, could go on but wont, hate it.the rabbits have totally no way out as they fix any holes immediately, rabbits in the end starve to death, dont they know its the pigeons that eat the crops.

The problem isn't with whippets, it's just that they don't don't look 'hard' enough for certain people, or give out the message that they can 'SMASH' everything they run, like a bull x does. LOL. I love whippets, fabulous dogs
