Polkey 70
If you go on the web site and look in the news section it says the black dogs are a bit cheaper due to it being the dominant colour. And if like me you are drawn to the less common colouring then I imagine the black ones are alway the last ones to go. That said if the pups from the litter I wanted one from were all black I would have had a black one. Quote Link to post

pritch 335
A dog is what you make of it. If u don't spend the time makin it what u want it to be then what do u expect. Noting to do with who breeds it!! that ain't strictly true you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear & as all dogs are individuals they all won't make the grade or reach the same heights no matter who fetches them up, then there's peoples differing standards, some folk like a dog to hunt up,stalk or like a dog to think for itself others hate those things.some will have a better nose,be faster or easier trained, even litter mates.in all litters there is variation some may have the potential to be wold beaters but some i'm afraid will always be lemons 5 Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497
One is bred for racing and one is bred for hearding livestock..and i will put good money on it that Hancock does neither of the two with his stud dog's..let alone work them to there full potential for several season's..of coarse it's each to there own but me pesonaly would not have a one for free let alone pay £250 for one..they is far too much can go wrong with them first crosses from unproven dog's.. worker to worker from proven stock for me all day long which will greatly lesson the chance of a failure.. 2 Quote Link to post
